Pluto, the power planet of hidden truths and transformation, is retrograde and will be heading back into Capricorn from Aquarius, and will stay in Capricorn until November 19, and with Capricorn, it’s all about business. This is an interesting placement right now with the elections coming up in November in the USA, because when Pluto is in Aquarius, the people have the power, and when in Capricorn, the establishments have the control. During the election, it’s going to be in Capricorn. So, there is an indication that there will be some unrest during this election, one way or another, regardless of who wins. Unrest seems to be pretty certain because while Pluto transits back and forth in this retrograde, it sits at what's called a critical degree, which intensifies everything. More on the election later, as I will do separate reports.
At the same time this week, on the second or third, depending on where you are in the world, there is a new moon in Virgo, and with Virgo, it helps to get everything in place and to get organized. It also highlights the need for work-life balance, and doing what’s right for you, as well as for other people. Communication is important as is the way that you communicate. Also to know when to let things go and when to step up and fight. Not everything is worth going into a fight for, so you have to, as they say, pick your battles. But the new moon always opens up new possibilities and what you need to do is to clear the schedule somewhat so you’re open to be able to recognize any different options that arise.
The start of the week is busy with lots going on. Also on the 3rd, Mars will be in a square, and a square is a challenging aspect, with Neptune. Mars, at this stage of the month, is in Gemini, so it wants to speak up. It wants to have its say and there’s a little bit of you know, I’m right and everybody else is wrong attitude. Neptune energy can cloud issues, so you want to make sure of the following: 1. One you have your facts right. And 2. Focus on responding and not reacting, OK.
Shortly after, on the fourth, Mars will depart Gemini and enter the next sign, which is cancer. In Cancer, Mars is not great because cancer doesn’t like to be rushed. I mean cancer is a cardinal sign and it likes to put things into action, however, it's also a water sign, so it needs to feel right before it moves into action. And Mars can try to push the cancer faster than the energy feels comfortable doing. However, not a bad thing, because as we know thought alone is just a thought, but thought followed by action makes things happen. So, in this sense, it can work.
Later in the week, over the weekend, Mercury squares Uranus. Be careful to take a step back. Think before you speak. Things can come out of the blue right now and then right at the end of the weekend, the Sun will be opposite Saturn. I don’t mind this opposition, as the sun is in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces, so it’s a good balance of integrating the logical and the intuitive. Ask yourself, does this look right, and does it feel right? If you get a yes for both of those then it’s a definite 'let’s go' message.
