July 2023 - Planetary Report and signs

Here are the highlights for July 23 with the astral planetary transits so let’s get started. Scroll down for the link to the video with all 12 signs

In the first week of July, right on the 1st, the Sun in Cancer will sextile with Jupiter and Taurus. Anything to do with the Sun and Jupiter together is amazing for manifestation, and in this case, it’s a combination of earth and water signs, so you want to get down to business? However, don’t neglect your inner wisdom, your intuition it’s important to tune in to see how you’re feeling about things, does it feel right, yes, then go ahead.  If it does not feel right, then search for more information, and my suggestion would be not to go ahead until it both looks and feels right. Putting all that aside, the Sun and Jupiter together always bring opportunities, so watch out for that.

This month's full Moon on the third is in Capricorn, and for a full moon, it means that there’s an axis between the moon and the sun, so the sun is in Cancer, Happy Birthday Cancer. This is also another interaction, which encourages you to balance out your logic and intuition. Often, we see a theme coming through and straight away we see this theme of intuition vs logic for this month. And of course, in the USA the Fourth of July is Independence Day, so it’s a day of thoughtfulness and gratitude. It's a day to take a step back and get out of your busyness and focus on how you're feeling and focus on those around you who you love and cherish.

On the seventh, there’s an interaction between Mercury and Cancer. It is a sextile with Uranus in Taurus. This is great for positive thinking and capitalizing on opportunities that come your way because anything that happens with planet Uranus can literally come out of the blue. And as Mercury is a thinking planet and in a water sign, it’s once again a combination of your intuitiveness and your logical thinking. So, when an opportunity crosses your path, and it feels right, you want to go after it, don’t delay, OK.

Then on the 9th of July, Mercury will Trine with Neptune. This is amazing as Mercury and Neptune together heighten your creativity and imagination. So, you want to take notice of what comes through for you, write it down, and then expand on it.

During the second week, Mars leaves its comfortable spot in the Leo fire sign and will move into Virgo. There are challenges here because Mars is about action and motivation, while Virgo wants to think things through. However, it does serve well in the way that the Mars energy can help stop you from overthinking and procrastinating and you can use the energy to push through. 

On the same day, on the 11th, Mercury will leave the intuitive water sign of Cancer and enter the fire sign of Leo. In this position, your thinking can become more expansive, so whatever dreams you have made then make them bigger. When your dream is bigger than yourself, the little frustrations that come with life, in general, can fade away, or at least seem less important.

During the third week of July, on the 17th, this month’s new Moon is in the sign of Cancer, which means the Sun and the Moon a conjunct at the same degree in the same sign. Of course, it’s really powerful here because the Moon rules Cancer, so if you have a Cancer Moon, as I do, then you will want to take notice of where that falls in your chart.

Planet Mars in Virgo will be in opposition to Saturn in Pisces, on the 20th, and these two are opposite energies, as Mars is impulsive, and Saturn is cautious and even the axis of Pisces and Virgo are opposite. Virgo is detailed orientated and like to stick to a routine and plan, and Pisces is inspirational and likes to go with the flow. However, putting this all together even though there are a lot of opposite energies here it’s once again highlighting the theme that we started with to incorporate your intuitiveness with your logical sense. Pay attention to what it looks like and what it feels like and look for a correlation between the two.

The very next day on the 21st the Sun will be opposite Pluto. This is a very powerful interaction, although you do want to be careful of control issues. There is a combination of nurturing energies and controlling energies, and as Pluto is retrograde then issues from the past can also come up. It's not a bad thing as it gives you the opportunity to get closure or get clearer on things, either way, it is good.

On the 22nd, the all-powerful energy of the Sun will move into the sign it rules, Leo. This is fabulous as it really gives you a boost of energy, however, keep in mind that on the same day Venus, also in Leo, will go retrograde and stay in this retrograde transit until early September, and therefore it is an extended stay of Venus in Leo. However, it’s good news because retrograde or not, Venus in Leo gives you the gift of showing up for yourself, and once you make things right in your own life, then that opens the door for you to have healthy relationships with others. 

On the 27th when Mercury will conjunct with Venus, and remember the conjunction is the same degree in the same sign, in Leo. This is a time when discussions can take place so if you’ve done the inner work up to this point, know how you feel, and have been showing up for yourself, then you will have more clarity, confidence, and certainty of having discussions with others. 

Thinking planet Mercury, the planet of education and creativity, and communication will make it move from Leo into Virgo, one of the signs it rules, on the 28th, so it’s very comfortable in this position and will help you be more detailed in making a plan of what you want to do and how you're going to arrive at your destination.

It is a great month to show up for yourself and to focus on both your intuition and logical thoughts.
