Horoscope Week September 11 2023

Welcome to the week of September 11, that’s a date that none of us will ever forget for sure, so I’d like to start by sending a special prayer for those everywhere around the world who were affected by the 9/11 attack in the USA, all my love and best wishes go to you on this day and every day. 

OK, so this week there is a lot of planetary activity happening towards the end of the week. On the 14th, we have the new Moon for September, which means the Sun and the Moon are conjunct, together at the same degree, and this month's new Moon is in the sign of Virgo, so it’s a message for us to balance between the intuitive and the logical.  

Virgo likes to, and is very good at delving into, the details, and really making sure that nothing falls through the cracks, so it is very logical energy and the Moon is emotional. This concentration on how things are coming together can get quite intense, plus Virgo, and all the earth signs, like to worry, especially when things are not falling into place as they should, or could. So, a good use of this energy is to use this new Moon to get organized, but also to take a step back and check in with your intuition. Ask yourself, does this feel right? Is there anything else I need to do with this, so I am happy and satisfied with the way that everything is coming together? And does it have to be done now? Is it one of my priorities, or would I be best now that I step away and take a break? Even if it’s a 20-minute break; go for a quick walk, play with the dog, do a little meditation, or some breathing exercises, just to keep things in perspective. 

On the 15th, Mercury, the planet of communication, creativity, and education, will be stationary directly, which means it will be in its storm phase of the transit or most of this week and over the weekend. If you’re starting something new or launching something, and as I am getting ready to do, then starting from Monday the 18th will be a perfect time to start something new or to launch something, or sign documents. This means that this week is a perfect time to just get everything locked down behind the scenes, that’s what Mercury retrograde is really good for. 

The Sun will Trine with Uranus, also on Friday the 15th. The Trine is what’s called, like an easy passage, the path of least resistance, or the path of allowing your attraction and manifestation to come to you, and for you to be open to allow it. You want to keep your schedule a little flexible because the Sun being the most powerful energy force in the sign of Virgo and Uranus in Taurus, makes this an earth Trine.  And anything that happens under a Uranus influence can literally come out of the blue. Being an earth Trine does give it some grounding, and what happens during this time can indicate that it’s going to be there for the long-term and not just a passing situation. 

The week concludes with Venus squaring Jupiter. Now, as I have said before, a square is a challenging aspect, but between Venus and Jupiter, not so much. However, Venus is in Leo, and Jupiter is in Taurus. These are both fixed signs, so it’s a fixed sign square, which means that you want to be mindful and careful to get out of your own way. Another way of looking at it is just to stay open-minded, and although we all think our way is the best way, do try to keep in mind that we are always learning, and I love that saying, "We don’t know what we don’t know". So even though this is a square, be mindful not to get in your own way, and to be open and more flexible to see what else is available or listening to someone else’s ideas. Sometimes a square can just stop us, so we can broaden our views, and see what else is going on, or what other opportunities can come through for us, OK.
