Horoscope Week October 23, 2023

Ok, let get started. The week commences with the Sun making its move from Libra, the sign of relationships, as it ingresses to the savvy intense sign of Scorpio. So, happy birthday, Scorpio! The Sun will join Mars and Mercury, also in Scorpio, so there’s a lot going on in Scorpio this week. Right at the end of the week, they’ll be a full Moon, also influencing Scorpio energy, and of course, this also influences all 12 signs.

Shortly after, the Sun will have an interaction with Saturn. The Sun, our most powerful energy, and Saturn, the planet of business, career, and permanency, will focus our attention on our life purpose. The interaction between them is a Trine, which represents an easy passage, a path of least resistance. It’s a soft aspect, however, with Saturn retrograde in Pisces, and the Sun in Scorpio, it can bring up some past issues to be dealt with. 

The Trine astral aspects are always in the same element, and in this case, it is a water Trine, which can be emotional. And as there’s so much going on in Scorpio and as Saturn represents male figures, as in father, guardians, or even a male superior at work, it can cause certain situations to resurface that you haven’t dealt with and give you a chance to revisit, look a little closer and gain closure.

Towards the end of the week, planet Mars will be in opposition to Jupiter. An opposition is a trigger point that helps you gain a lot of clarity and allows you to close off anything that’s not really working so you can move on. An opposition is always in the same mode. In this case, with Jupiter in Taurus, and Mars in Scorpio, it is the mode of a fixed sign opposition. As Jupiter is the planet of abundance and expansion, and Mars is the planet of action and pushes forward, with a combination of Earth and water signs, you will need to be conscious of making a decision, not overthinking it, and then moving forward.

Then we have Mercury and Mars conjunct in Scorpio. This is another trigger point, which opens up new avenues, ideas, concepts, and possibilities. And as Mercury is the thinking planet, and Mars, the motivator, you can expect some news. Once again, it is another message not to overthink or overanalyze. If it looks right and feels right, and your intuition says yes, then that's your cue to go ahead!

At the same time, Mercury will be in opposition with Jupiter, which will also help us to gain clarity, make a decision, and move on. It’s likely that you’ll hear some news about something, and indeed something fabulous, but often when we say yes to one thing it can mean that we need to say no to something else.

As the full Moon is at the same time, with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio, this further just helps us decide with clarity by doing a quick evaluation and then move forward to concrete your decision by putting it into action. Do at least one thing, an action point, that confirms you’re moving ahead.

Be mindful this week that you may need to let go of something, gain closure, and put it behind you, so you are open to receiving something or someone better. However, it can take courage sometimes to do this, so take a deep breath, get ready to leave the past behind, and boldly walk into your bright new future.
