Horoscope Week October 02, 2023

Welcome to the week in the stars for October 2nd. Firstly, l will go through the planetary report, the movement, and how the planets are interacting, and then I’ll do the individual Sun Sign reports. Don’t worry, you won’t have to listen to all the signs unless you want to of course, but l will put the time codes in so you can just go to your sign. 

The week starts off with an opposition between Mercury, the planet of communication, education, and creativity, which is opposite Neptune, also very creative inspirational energy, imaginative, and intuitive. As Neptune is in Pisces, the sign it rules, and Mercury in Virgo, also one of the signs Mercury rules, this can spark a great deal of imagination, new ideas, and concepts.  

There's a strong influence to be analytical and intuitive with this planetary interaction. As Virgo is analytical and Pisces highly instinctual, once you get your ideas and concepts laid down into some type of working format, then you want to ask yourself, how does it look and how does it feel?  If you get a good response and feel for both, count this as a green flag. It is wise to do you a short balancing meditation to clear your energy.  There are lots of short five-minute meditations on YouTube, to through a few and select one you resonate with.  Or, just sit by yourself in silence or with some soft meditative music, and turn into that instinctual side of you to gain clarity. 

At the same time, Mercury will Trine with Pluto. A trine is a softer astral aspect of allowing things to come to you instead of working so hard to pull them to you. It’s very much about going down deep in your emotions to see whether this is something that fits well for you.  It is also an energy of integrity, and more importantly, self-integrity, and to make sure that you’re doing what’s right for you. We often do things for other people, which is great, but at the end of the day we really want to have win-win outcomes for all concerned, so everyone feels that they’ve got something out of an action or situation.  That leads me to the question of who gets the most enjoyment from gifting, the giver, or the receiver, and usually, it’s both. 

Midweek, Mercury, which seems to be the planetary star of the week, will make his transition from the sign of Virgo to the next sign, which is Libra. In libra, the energy really helps to get clarity because libra is the sign that loves to balance out the pros and cons. If I do this what will the outcome be and if l do it differently, what will the outcome be then? However, there is a warning not to overthink because once you get into that overthinking with Libra, it can lead to procrastinating and feeling stuck, rather than sorting it out and getting organized. 

The week will conclude with Venus making her move from Leo, which she has been resident in for several months in her back-and-forth retrograde transit, and now is finally moving into Virgo. Remember that Virgo is the sign of organization, details, and focus, so with Venus in this sign, let’s take into account that Venus is the ruler of both love and money.  

With relationships, love really is in the details and it is important to remember birthdates, anniversaries, and the finer little details that made those special memories.  To capitalize on this energy, connect with those you are close to, and let them know that you are thinking of them, appreciate and love them, and make them feel special. When it's about money, try not to overlook anything. If you get a feeling, an intuitive nudge, to check your account or do something around finances, take that as a message and pay attention to it, as this could help you avoid mishaps down the track.
