OCTOBER 2023 PLANETARY REPORT

A lot is going on in October, so let’s cover some of the main points, and then at the end of the monthly planetary report, l will do a direct reading on the main areas of life to focus on for each sign. l will also put the time codes in, and you will be able to go straight to your sign.

Early in the month, Mercury makes his move from Virgo, one of the signs he rules, into Libra, and in this position, Mercury the thinking planet, helps you get organized, so you look at the pros and cons, which is very much the cassettes the Libra energy. However, you also want to trust your instincts because if you stay in that planning, thinking, and organizing state for too long, then it can lead to procrastination and feeling stuck.

On the eighth/ ninth, a square between Mars and Pluto can be pretty heavy-duty, with Pluto in Capricorn, and Mars in Libra, both cardinal signs, so don’t be too quick to move forward with action unless you are sure. Professionally work through things. Keep in mind that a square is a challenging aspect, so you want to be careful not to be too rash and take time to think things through.

At the same time, Venus, the planet that governs love and money, will make its move from Leo where she’s been for some months through her retrograde transit, and move into Virgo. This will help you gain clarity, so you can feel more self-assured with the decisions that you’re making in both of these areas of life.

On the 11th / 12th, Mars will transition from Libra to Scorpio and as Scorpio is one of the signs Mars rules, it’s very powerful in this position in many ways for strategizing and certainly to tuning in to your instincts and developing your intuition more occultly. 

The new Moon in the middle of the month on the 14th, in Libra, is a brand-new start, and particularly focused on relationships. With the Sun and the Moon both in Libra, it is an opportunity to focus more on relationships either to meet someone new or for a new beginning with someone.  It is also a time to focus on the relationship you have with yourself, to connect with the type of relationship that you are more suited to, and that’s valuable information. But it will require you to take some time out and have some solo time to think things through, reflect, and see how it feels and how the insights sit with you.

Mercury makes his move from Libra to Scorpio on the 21st /22nd and there’s so much going on in the Scorpio Libra area. Libra helps to sort things out and Scorpio helps to just move forward and put it into action in a very strategic way. You can use this energy to make headway by stepping up, and as Nike would say, Just Do It! Shortly after on the 23rd / 24th, the Sun in Libra will also move in Scorpio, so this is a very powerful time in the Scorpio and Libra chart and how it will influence all of the signs. Lots of transitions and lots going on.

On the 22nd, there are two Trine aspects, the energy of least resistance, allowing, and destiny. The first one is with Mercury and Saturn. This helps to make things more permanent and a space where you can commit to making it happen. The next one is in Venus, the ruler of love and money and all things to do with relationships and will Trine with abundant Jupiter, the planet of expansion. This is a very lucky, beautiful interaction, and one that can be capitalized on for increasing energy by using gratitude. By using gratitude, just to be thankful for what’s happening with things, people, and situations, as thankfulness is the same energy as success. Then, you will attract more of what you want to you.

There are a couple of squares around the same time, with the Sun squaring Pluto and Mercury on the 21st. Once again, anything to do with the Pluto energy can be transformational, but not without your effort, so the transfer of transformational energy comes from you looking within. It’s all about yourself and your self-development, and a great time to enhance your spiritual rituals.

During the last week of the month, on the 27th /28th, Mars will be opposite Jupiter and can ignite flashes of self-realization and opportunities. Jupiter is a planet of abundance and expansion and presents options, opportunities, and possibilities, so take notice of your inner intuitive nudges. 

On the 27th /28 the full Moon in Taurus with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun opposite in Scorpio is a great time just to let go as these fixed signs can stubbornly hold onto things, situations, people, relationships, and it’s time to just recognize that it may be time to just let it go. And what I mean by let it go, is replace it with something different, something better, something that fits within your life now. Often the hold on the past situation is so strong, and the memory bank is so set, that we don't even realize the hold it has on us. So, notice and stop thinking about it, stop reminiscing about it, stop talking about it, and replace it with something bigger, better, and more fabulous.
